Overview
Muse Media Tracker is designed as a personal media library. The app stores your library, categories, statuses, profiles, notes, ratings, and related preferences locally on your device unless you choose to export, import, or restore a backup.
Information You Add
You may add media titles, custom items, categories, profiles, notes, ratings, statuses, and backup files. This information is used to provide the app's library, organization, discovery, and backup features.
Backups
If you export a backup, the backup file is created for you to store or share outside the app. If you import a backup, the app uses the file you select to restore library data on your device.
Metadata and Online Features
When you search for media, view details, browse Explore, or open trailers, screenshots, wiki links, cast, crew, or other online information, the app may request data from third-party metadata and content services. Those services may receive technical information such as your device's IP address and the search or content request needed to return results.
Ads and Purchases
Muse Media Tracker may show ads and offers an optional non-consumable ad-free upgrade. Advertising, purchase, and restore-purchase features may be processed by third-party services such as Apple, ad networks, or purchase validation providers. Those services process data according to their own privacy policies and platform rules.
Children's Privacy
Muse Media Tracker is not intended to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the support process, open a support request so it can be addressed.
Data Deletion
You can remove library data from the app by deleting items, clearing app data, or uninstalling the app. Backup files exported outside the app must be deleted from the locations where you saved or shared them.
Changes
This policy may be updated when app features, services, or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page.
